Reporting
Here you’ll find a variety of tools designed to help you plan and manage space effectively at Oregon State University. The resources are organized into three sections:
Reporting provides self-service reporting tools that allow you to create comprehensive reports using data pulled directly from OSU’s space database. These reports can be generated right in your web browser—no additional software required—and can be downloaded in Excel or CSV format if needed.
Access to reporting tools is limited to vetted space liaisons and approved space stakeholders. If you are not yet an authorized user, please submit a request for access here.
Sample Floor Plan Configuration
This collection offers example configurations for offices and other common space types across campus. These layouts are provided to help generate ideas and support effective planning for a variety of space needs at OSU.
Examples include configurations for faculty and staff offices, employee workstations (cubicles and open office layouts), storage rooms, standard laboratories, and classrooms. Where applicable, recommended minimum clearances and key room features are also provided to guide your planning.

Allowable Change-In-Use Tool
The “RePurposinator” is an Excel-based tool that allows you to enter the current and intended future use of a space, generating the required action based on that change. This tool is designed to give unit leaders an initial sense of what may be involved if a space needs to be converted for a different or higher-priority use.
Of course, the Office of Space Management (OSM) is always available to answer questions about alternative approaches to space adjustments. We can also connect you with the appropriate resources if coordination with OSU’s Design and Construction team or other campus partners is necessary. Download the tool here.
