OSU Spaces is Oregon State University’s official tool for viewing and updating space information. In 2024, the University transitioned to a new platform to support OSU Spaces, as the previous system was no longer maintained by its software vendor.
OSU Spaces now operates within ReADY, a platform that connects to AiM, the University’s primary Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system. Through ReADY, users can access interactive tools including a campus map explorer, detailed floorplan views, and a robust surveying tool used for campus-wide space inventory efforts.
Access to OSU Spaces is provided to vetted university personnel who require accurate space data for planning and operational purposes. The system houses comprehensive information, including:
- Building details (e.g., year built, gross and assignable square footage)
- Location (room) data such as:
- Assigned and occupying organizations
- Room type (e.g., office, lab, storage)
- Usage (e.g., research, instruction, auxiliary)
- Assigned occupants
OSU Spaces is a key resource for supporting informed decision-making about campus facilities and future space needs.
